We’re getting ourselves over to France (my fiancé’s motherland) with just a few days to spare before we do this thing, so I’m trying to force myself to keep the packing as light and stress-free as possible. Besides the obvious wedding war chest, number one on my packing list are skincare products (always). My skin freaks out at the drop of a pin, so I’m never far from a couple oils and balms- and what’s better than a little self-pampering to de-stress from crazy bilingual wedding planning and jet lag? I’m throwing in my new favorite- ahem, only- hair styling product: the Rockaway Salt Spray from R+Co. I have stick straight, extremely non-compliant hair, and I swear to you: a spritz of this stuff on damp hair triggers a weird voodoo reaction wherein I suddenly have glorious mermaid beach hair. I try not to question it. Our Oakland neighbor and buddy Ali Golden makes the most gorgeous, minimalist clothing- perfect for travel. I’ll probably wear her black silk side-gathered dress every other day, and throw on Lauren Wolf’s Stingray Goddess necklace at night to up my game. Pack that into Shawn Burke’s jewelry roll along with my other favorite pieces, and I’m good to go! Just add wine, profiteroles, and insane amounts of love.
