The term “Art Deco” originated in 1920’s Paris, and is short for “Arts Décoratifs” – so it follows that the style is all about DECOration, decadence, and adornment. One of the most fashion-forward embodiments of the Art Deco genre is jewelry, a medium where the tenants of fine craftsmanship, geometric patterns, bright colors, and precious materials all come together – voilà!

We love the era’s taste for glamour, and we have some stunning vintage Deco pieces on offer that will have you feeling like an absolute Modern Woman.

    ART DECO DIAMOND RING
  • Pull out all the stops with this platinum bit of decadence! Like mythological Andromeda (translating literally to “ruler of men”), this enchanting ring is fit for a powerful personage. With a 1.65ct cushion cut diamond center accompanied by 22 round, full cut diamonds, it’s your own little universe.

    RUBY AND DIAMOND RING
  • A shop favorite, this bold and beautiful shield ring features a 1ct fancy center diamond, 8 square rubies, and no less than 16 round ancillary diamonds. The shield setting is comprised of an elongated octagon, overlaid with a rectangle, and topped with another octagon creating a surreal, kaleidoscopic effect.

    PLATINUM ART DECO RING
  • A .97ct old mine cut white diamond is smack in the center of a stepped platinum setting bedazzled with 14 smaller round white diamonds. This beauty is an archetype of Art Deco style with its well-crafted setting and geometric details. Circa 1920.

  • Adding a bit of contemporary flair to our Deco list is Jennie Kwon’s gorgeous three diamond necklace. With deep set stones and angular elements, it’s easy to see how Jennie has drawn on Art Deco tendencies to fashion a modern marvel.

    DECO DIAMOND SHIELD RING
  • A cruciform shield of white diamonds is set in gleaming icy platinum with great care. Milgrain details are a hallmark of Art Deco style, while slits cut through the metal expose the gems to more light, maximizing their sparkle!

  • art-deco-brooch
    ART DECO BROOCH
  • This rare, Egyptian revival piece is one for the ages. Circa 1925, this sweet scarab is rendered in a combo of porcelain, silver, and gold wash with enamel – illustrating a typical Deco penchant for using multiple materials. Bonus: can be worn as a brooch or a necklace pendant.

  • platinum-deco-filigree-ring
    PLATINUM DECO FILIGREE RING
  • The lengthened filigree shield is prominent style from the 1920’s, and this piece is a sumptuous example. This brilliant platinum ring showcases very fine handiwork in the filigree detailing, with milgrain elements and a beautifully carved band. Lucky for you, this is 2018 not 1928, so prohibition is over and you can enjoy throwing back a cocktail with this fabulous sparkler complimenting your martini glass!

  • vintage-platinum-diamondband
    VINTAGE PLATINUM DIAMOND BAND
  • Obviously, platinum was the metal du jour of the Machine Age, but this band manages to stand out among the rest. With an unusual combination of asymmetrical baguette + round diamonds, this ring is an eternal stunner.
